| I just got done watching "Back to the Future" for the first time - the very first one that was done for only $19 million. A good movie especially for 1985. I didn't realize that George McFly was Crispin Glover until the credits rolled at the end. I knew there was something so familiar about the way he portrayed his character but couldn't put my finger on it. I feel ridiculous! Of course! He looks so much younger than he does now. But he's still the same old dude. If I wasn't seeing Crispin at my work regularly, I wouldn't feel so silly about it.
Makes me think what would I do if I could go back 30 years and change the future, what would I choose to change?

| The latest news here on the west coast....I've landed a job I'm very excited about! I am working on Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim
Burton. Starring Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, and Helena
Bonham Carter. I'm working for one of the producers as a production assistant, and absolutely loving it. God is great. There is so much more to what it actually took to get this - wasn't just some random job falling into my lap, and I have so much to be thankful for!! This week has been surreal.
A couple things I've learned about life and have been thinking about recently....Life is not just about
acquiring your dreams, it's about the journey. When we compromise with
our values, we will never know how much of God's blessing we'll miss
out on. Love people and find ways to always be growing. Surround
yourself with people you love and respect. Believe in God, when He
gives and when He takes away. There is a direct relationship between the strength of our core and our ability to adapt. If we're unwilling to change, we won't change the world around us....truly as Gandhi once said "you must be the change you wish to see in the world." The highest level of leadership comes from men and women who are willing to change and bring change. And this is not about anything political. If this makes you think about the candidate you're voting for, no problem, but that's not why I'm writing this. If you aren't fulfilled in your life, considered whether you need to step back and reassess where you're going. Otherwise, you run the risk of becoming like a container of playdoh that someone left the lid off of.
Those are a few of the thoughts I've had recently in a nutshell! I know, that's maybe a little more serious than the first part of this post. But whatever!
